Business Impact Governance: DORA Alignment – Public Overview (v1.0)
A compact technical addendum and open-access public overview outlining the conceptual alignment between Regulation (EU) 2022/2554 (Digital Operational Resilience Act, DORA) and the Business Impact Governance (BIG) framework. This document addresses the operational gap between static, survey-driven Business Impact Analysis (BIA) documentation and real-time operational resilience. It presents an attribute-based regulatory mapping matrix connecting DORA Chapter II requirements (ICT risk identification, continuous BIA, recovery time objectives, and third-party dependencies) with deterministic decision logic (P = B + S + T). Notice: This public edition introduces the conceptual problem space and architectural alignment principles only. Detailed technical scoring functions, CMDB/ITSM database schemas, automated audit evidence logic, and proprietary contractual artifacts are intentionally excluded from this edition. Provenance: Companion publication to Business Impact Data Governance: From periodic BIA documentation to governed decision data across the service lifecycle (Zenodo DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.22658623)
