Ondo Zero: Verifiable Photo and Video Provenance via Continuous Blockchain Anchoring

Ondo Zero is a system for verifying the provenance and integrity of digital photographs and video recordings by anchoring cryptographic fingerprints to a public blockchain. The core principle is to move the trust point from the finished media file to the capture process. For video, the stream can be divided into short temporal segments and anchored continuously, with an anchoring interval of approximately two seconds. Photographic capture can likewise be associated with a verifiable cryptographic record. The resulting evidence can be checked independently against public blockchain records rather than relying solely on the infrastructure of a single platform. The system is designed to make subsequent alteration detectable; it does not, by itself, establish that the scene depicted was genuine or unstaged.
