D1.2 Design, characterization and optimization of hardware and readout circuit for biosensors
Deliverable D1.2 reports the work performed by NTUA in Task 1.4 for the design, integration, verification and packaging of the MOBILES electrochemical readout circuit. Development progressed from a benchtop Vertex.100mA reference setup to a portable reader based on the EmStat Pico Development Kit and controlled through PSTrace 5.13 software. The document focuses on the functional circuit architecture, WE/RE/CE electrode interfacing, USB communication and power, accessible sensor connectors, PCB mounting and the custom 3D-printed enclosure. CV and SWV measurements with the E2 aptasensor were used to verify the complete circuit-to-sensor chain.
