THE LIMINAL FIELD: A Strange Thing
Short Description A reflection on the mechanism of thought as a self‑incrementing cycle and on how interrupting its automatic activation allows the mind to return to a neutral state of listening. The text describes the transition from accumulated thought to a condition of voluntary formulation within the liminal field. Abstract This work examines how thought is not self‑generated but incremented by the subject, with each thought attracting others of similar nature and creating confusion. By interrupting this cycle even briefly, one can restore voluntary choice in thinking and establish a neutral mental condition oriented toward listening. The text describes the process of blocking thoughts at their onset, the stabilization that follows, and the emergence of a dominant thought of waiting, which gradually dissolves old patterns and enables a new structural mode of thinking within the liminal field. OpenAIRE Description This text explores the dynamics of thought as an accumulative and magnetically driven process. It proposes a method for interrupting the automatic cycle of thought by blocking each new thought at its inception, thereby returning the mind to a neutral state of listening. The work situates this practice within FMOO’s liminal framework, describing how the gradual stabilization of presence leads to a dominant thought of waiting and to the structural reconfiguration of the mental field. The process results in the demagnetization of old cognitive patterns and the emergence of a new mode of thinking aligned with interiority.
