Математичне моделювання максимального крутного моменту привода в плоскоциліндрових штанцювальних пресах

Due to increased production of paperboard packaging, flat-cylindrical die-cutting presses are being used more widely. Since the existing methods for calculating their energy-power parameters are incomplete, a new mathematical model of the drive torque was developed. It comprehensively accounts for cutting and creasing forces, ejector deformation, and friction. Testing on FBB paperboard (350 g/m²) showed that ignoring these components underestimates the calculated load by 38%. Operational wear of the tool additionally increases the torque by 11–15%. This analytical model will serve as a reliable basis for the design of drives for new presses, for computer simulations, and for assessing the resources of existing equipment.
