The genome sequence of the Brindled Tortrix, Ptycholoma lecheana (Linnaeus, 1758) (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae)
We present a genome assembly from an individual female Ptycholoma lecheana (Brindled Tortrix; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Tortricidae). The genome sequence has a total length of 584.13 megabases. Most of the assembly (97.8%) is scaffolded into 31 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the W and Z sex chromosomes. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 16.55 kilobases. This assembly was generated as part of the Darwin Tree of Life project, which produces genomes for eukaryotic species found in Britain and Ireland.
