Axiom 1.That which has never occurred and will never occur as a real physical event in the Universe does not exist in the Universe. Axiom 2.That which does not exist in the Universe as a real physical event cannot possibly occur as a real physical event in the Universe. Consider any elapsed time interval T (for example, five minutes). During this interval, a specific event N occurred. Now consider any event X, distinct from N, which did not occur during the interval T. Since the interval T has already ended, X did not occur in T and can never become an event of this completed interval. Therefore, X has never been and will never be a real physical event of the interval T. According to Axiom 1, such an event X does not exist in the Universe. According to Axiom 2, X cannot be a real physical event in the Universe. Consequently, X could not have occurred as a real physical event during the given interval T. Thus, for any completed interval of time, there is no other real physical event that could have occurred instead of the one that actually took place. Conclusion:Nothing other than what occurred could have occurred.
