From Dogma to Dialogue: What a Fascist Youth Building Owes the Present
In 1936, Bolzano's Fascist regime built a headquarters to train girls into obedient citizens of a totalitarian state. Today the same building houses a research institute — and a new memorial stele in front of it asks what it means to inherit, rather than erase, such a past.
