Collective Behavior of Hyperons in Pb–Pb Collisions with ALICE
Hyperons created in non-central nucleus-nucleus collisions possess collective behavior known as elliptic flow ( $${{v}_{2}}$$ ). Also, hyperons are sensitive to the magnetic field and vorticity of the produced system resulting in their polarization. The measurement of elliptic flow and the polarization of Λ and $${{\\Xi }^{ - }}$$ hyperons in Pb–Pb collisions, performed with the ALICE detector at the LHC are presented.
