Replication data and code for "Government Size, Civic Capital and Economic Performance: An O-ring Approach", by Luciano Mauro, Francesco Pigliaru and Gaetano Carmeci, Economic Modelling, ECMODE-D-26-02602R4

This repository contains the processed country-period (panel) dataset and the Stata code used to reproduce the empirical results reported in the article “Government Size, Civic Capital and Economic Performance: An O-ring Approach.” The original respondent-level EVS and WVS datasets are not redistributed and must be obtained directly from the respective data providers. The repository contains only the authors’ derived country-period aggregates. Download all files into the same folder. Open Stata, set the working directory to that folder, and run “Replication.do”. The program reproduces the empirical estimates reported in Tables 1 and 2.
