B2A Agentic Commerce Implementation Record

A dated technical record of a working business-to-agent (B2A) commerce implementation, and of the first purchases made through it. On 15 September 2026 two third-party software agents, unknown to the seller beforehand, registered themselves at a public endpoint, read a priced catalogue, placed orders, accepted offers pinned to a content hash, and reached settlement in the production ledger. In the first, the payment was completed by a person on the processor's hosted page. In the second, the buyer's own agent wallet completed the settlement with a payment card issued to that agent, and no card details were entered by any person. Both produced an invoice from the company's production numbering sequence, a client record, an open work task and outbound mail, with nothing carried over by hand. The record documents the architecture, the four client classes and their separated authority, the offer-integrity mechanism, the three settlement routes, and a dated verification log with redacted evidence for each capability. It records a defect found during verification, in which a test-mode payment consumed a real invoice number, and the safeguard introduced in response. It also cross-checks the second transaction against the buyer's independent record, kept by a party with no access to the seller's ledger. Version 1.2 supersedes version 1.1. It adds the two production transactions, verifies delivery of outbound documents, and corrects the reason given in version 1.1 for the tokenised settlement route remaining unexercised in production: the processor refuses a delegated token whose granting and receiving parties are the same account, which is a counterparty requirement rather than a regional restriction. Earlier versions remain retrievable under their own identifiers.
