The mitochondrial genome of Sapromyza sexpunctata (Diptera: Lauxaniidae) and its phylogenetic analysis
This study sequenced the complete mitochondrial genome of Sapromyza sexpunctata (Diptera: Lauxaniidae). Maximum-likelihood phylogenetic analysis supports Lauxanioidea monophyly and places this species sister to Pachycerina. The 16,671 bp genome comprises 37 genes (13 PCGs, 22 tRNAs, rrnL, and rrnS) and a control region, exhibiting a 77.54% A + T bias. Notably, COX1 uses a putative atypical CGA start codon, and ND3 has an incomplete T stop codon. These results provide a vital genetic reference for future Lauxaniidae systematic studies.
