I read with interest the recently published article by Wei and colleagues in The Journal of Rheumatology.1 In their article, they explored a novel scoring system incorporating salivary gland ultrasound score, age, and hyperglobulinemia (IgG > 20 g/L) to stratify patients undergoing evaluation for Sjögren disease (SjD) into low-, moderate-, and high-risk groups for having a subsequent labial salivary gland biopsy (LSGB) with a focus score ≥ 1.
