A Method for Increasing the Efficiency of Detecting Minimum Ionizing Particles Using MCP Detectors

Abstract The method of increasing the detection efficiency of minimum ionizing particles by reducing the registration thresholds along with the application of the coincidence circuit is proposed and tested. The suggested method features the reduction of background noise by several orders of magnitude.
