A Parametric Approach to Synthetic Impulse Response Generation: From Reference Analysis to Novel Reverberant Spaces

Technical methods companion for Synthetic IR Studio, a browser-based parametric system for generating stereo impulse responses across acoustic, mechanical and explicitly synthetic reverberation architectures. The report documents the reference-analysis methodology, synthesis architectures, DSP implementation, development process, evaluation and technical limitations. The system uses reference-informed morphological abstraction rather than direct reproduction or emulation of measured spaces or commercial reverberators.
