THE UNIVERSAL REASON OF ANTIMATTER: OPPOSITION, CONJUGATION AND THE ARCHITECTURE OF THE COSMOS

TitleThe Universal Reason of Antimatter: Opposition, Conjugation and the Architecture of the Cosmos AuthorCláudio Vicente da Silva Description This work starts from the fundamental question “What is matter?” and develops a rigorous formal framework to define the relationship between physical state, charge, opposition, charge conjugation and antimatter. The charge conjugation operator CCC is mathematically delimited on a restricted domain QC\\mathcal{Q}_CQC of conjugable charges, with the fundamental action C(Q)=−QC(Q) = -QC(Q)=−Q and the involution property C2=IQCC^2 = I_{\\mathcal{Q}_C}C2=IQC. Charge conjugation is shown not to be an indiscriminate inversion of the complete physical state, but an operation acting only on the conjugable charge configuration associated with the state. The matter–antimatter relation is thereby expressed as qC(Aˉ)=C(qC(A)).q_C(\\bar{A}) = C(q_C(A)).qC(Aˉ)=C(qC(A)). The investigation then moves beyond the mere description of antiparticles and asks a deeper structural question: why does a physical reality organised by relations, oppositions, equilibria and transformations possess the capacity to produce conjugated states? Within the framework of the Primitive Architecture the answer is sought in the priority of opposition itself. The fundamental sequence is: RELATION → OPPOSITION → EQUILIBRIUM → MOTION → LATENCY → TRANSDUCTION → FORM → MEMORY → RESONANCE → CYCLE → NEW RELATION. Matter and antimatter are treated as particular physical realisations of a more general structure of opposition and conjugation, not as the origin of that structure. The mathematical core of the construction is the primordial mean 1/21/21/2 and the structural deviation ddd: 12+d ⟷ 12−d,d ⟷ −d,\\frac12 + d \\;\\longleftrightarrow\\; \\frac12 - d, \\qquad d \\;\\longleftrightarrow\\; -d,21+d⟷21−d,d⟷−d, with the conjugation operator C(β)=1−β\\mathcal{C}(\\beta) = 1 - \\betaC(β)=1−β satisfying C2=I\\mathcal{C}^2 = IC2=I. The same structure is linked to observable quantities: the CP asymmetry ACPA_{CP}ACP and the cosmological baryon asymmetry ηB\\eta_BηB. This prediction is directly testable by the forthcoming neutrino-oscillation experiments DUNE and Hyper-Kamiokande. The work carefully distinguishes four levels that must not be confused: (1) the mathematical construction of opposition and conjugation, (2) the physical operation of charge conjugation, (3) the dynamical processes of interaction and transduction, and (4) the experimental observables ACPA_{CP}ACP and ηB\\eta_BηB. It also examines the implications of the CPT theorem and the structural origin of the arrow of time. The central hypothesis is stated without teleological claims: Antimatter is a physical manifestation of the capacity of the cosmos to produce conjugated states. Abstract

The charge conjugation operator CCC is mathematically delimited on a restricted domain QC\mathcal{Q}_CQC of conjugable charges, with the fundamental action C(Q)=−QC(Q) = -QC(Q)=−Q and the involution property C2=IQCC^2 = I_{\mathcal{Q}_C}C2=IQC. Charge conjugation is shown not to be an indiscriminate inversion of the complete physical state, but an operation acting only on the conjugable charge configuration associated with the state. The matter–antimatter relation is thereby expressed as qC(Aˉ)=C(qC(A)).q_C(\bar{A}) = C(q_C(A)).qC(Aˉ)=C(qC(A)). The mathematical core of the construction is the primordial mean 1/21/21/2 and the structural deviation ddd: 12+d ⟷ 12−d,d ⟷ −d,\frac12 + d \;\longleftrightarrow\; \frac12 - d, \qquad d \;\longleftrightarrow\; -d,21+d⟷21−d,d⟷−d, with the conjugation operator C(β)=1−β\mathcal{C}(\beta) = 1 - \betaC(β)=1−β satisfying C2=I\mathcal{C}^2 = IC2=I. The same structure is linked to observable quantities: the CP asymmetry ACPA_{CP}ACP and the cosmological baryon asymmetry ηB\eta_BηB. A quantitative correspondence function is proposed, and a concrete, falsifiable prediction is derived for the leptonic CP-violation phase: δCP≈−π/2.\delta_{CP} \approx -\pi/2.δCP≈−π/2. This prediction is directly testable by the forthcoming neutrino-oscillation experiments DUNE and Hyper-Kamiokande. The work carefully distinguishes four levels that must not be confused: (1) the mathematical construction of opposition and conjugation, (2) the physical operation of charge conjugation, (3) the dynamical processes of interaction and transduction, and (4) the experimental observables ACPA_{CP}ACP and ηB\eta_BηB. It also examines the implications of the CPT theorem and the structural origin of the arrow of time.
