Public Economic Visibility at the Producer Side of Global Coffee: A Pre-Analysis Plan for a 51-Origin Audit of Reference-Price and Farm-Gate Disclosure
This record preserves the frozen 7 September 2026 pre-analysis plan for the Coffee Monitor 51-origin producer-price study. The plan specifies the research questions, measurement rules, estimands, diagnostics, reliability standards, and reporting rules for a 102-cell audit of public reference-price and farm-gate disclosure. The plan was governed by Coffee Monitor, Global Coffee Observatory: Evidence Rule Book, Revision 2.7, dated 1 September 2026, DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.22740331. The deposited Revision 2.7 DOCX has SHA-256: ef38c5e91eaf5769e12e274da6a4537988601aa39f2b85e1b14234a580b1ea9b. Interim cell-level adjudications were already known during instrument development. The plan was written and finalized on 7 September 2026 and the closure registry was frozen on 11 September 2026, but the plan was publicly deposited only after that freeze. The deposited plan itself states an intention to be publicly deposited before dataset freeze; that intended chronology was not followed. This timing departure is recorded as Deviation 1. No final comparative tables, paired contrasts, identification bounds, or reliability statistics had been computed at the time of freeze. The deposited PDF is preserved without retrospective textual correction. Public deposit date: 14 September 2026.Deposited PDF SHA-256: b488ce0d295d194f8051ac8eeef343154cbbeda22ec02373ee88ed382a34551f
