Demographic Classifications for Register Research: Syntax Documentation from the Insurance Medicine All Sweden (IMAS) Project.

This record provides syntax documentations for a series of demographic classifications used in register-based research within the Insurance Medicine All Sweden (IMAS) project. The collection includes classifications for age, country of birth, educational attainment, family situation, marital status, residential area, and industry and occupation. The documentation specifies the source variables, category definitions, and implementation syntax in both SAS and SPSS. These classifications are routinely used in IMAS research and have been made publicly available to support reproducibility of research using Swedish register data.
