Phase 22 Results: The Onomastic Channel is Site-General — A Pre-registered Negative Result on Linear A and Knossian Mycenaean Greek.

Pre-registered results for Phase 22. The primary hypothesis was rejected: Linear A word types are not phonotactically closer to Knossos-only than to Pylos-only Mycenaean Greek types; the observed effect runs in the opposite direction. A mandatory placebo control on the word-initial vowel axis was strongly significant (p = 1e-4), indicating that Knossian and Pylian Greek differ phonotactically for reasons unrelated to a Minoan substrate. Verdict: SITE-GENERAL. A secondary observation — that length-matched resampling reverses the sign of the final-vowel comparison — is reported as a methodological note, not as a finding, and motivates a follow-up phase.
