Source-Moment Constraints on Lattice Matter–Field Dynamics

Can the interaction between matter and light be determined before fitting an atomic energy? In this lattice model, prepared energy measurements determine the weights of the internal contact operations. Once a frequency ratio fixes the field shape, they determine all three positive coupling ratios. The key is to retain the field left by a particle's motion: returning to the same site need not restore the field. The field shape also fixes how the initial energy gain divides between the transverse and Coulomb fields. The same parameters then imply positive binding and a nonzero probability for a specified photon event. These results use the full photon field and come with explicit error bounds. Their physical application requires identifying the model's source, clock and field with the system being studied.
