Topological Unlocking of Rest Mass: Harvesting Spatial Strain Energy via Phase-Controlled Mass Cancellation in a Geometric Electron Model

This paper presents a non-scalar, topological-geometric framework for the origin of rest mass and a theoretical mechanism for direct mass-energy harvesting without antiparticle annihilation. While Einstein’s mass-energy equivalence ($E=mc^2$) accounts for energy conservation during mass loss, it leaves the underlying physical mechanism of mass creation unexplained. We demonstrate that rest mass is neither an intrinsic scalar property nor a Higgs-field coupling artifact, but localized geometric strain energy ($\Delta h \approx 0.236$) stored within the microscopic spatial continuum when a photon is topologically locked into an orthogonal dual-disk ($2D+2D$) boundary condition at the golden ratio barrier ($x = 1/\phi$). By re-evaluating electric charge as a boundary stress differential and chiral flux rather than an immutable physical quantity, we establish that topological unlocking does not strictly require positron-electron pair annihilation. We propose Active Mass Cancellation (AMC)—a method utilizing zeptosecond-level ($10^{-21}\text{ s}$) coherent phase modulation to induce destructive interference in the electron’s intrinsic de Broglie pulsation ($1.23 \times 10^{20}\text{ Hz}$). Disrupting the orthogonal cavity's boundary conditions flattens the local curvature barrier, restoring the trapped standing wave into a freely propagating photon wave packet and releasing 100% of the stored spatial strain energy. Geometric Origin of Rest Mass: Rest mass represents the localized kinetic energy of a single photon circulating in a closed $90^\circ$ orthogonal cavity. The spatial continuum pays a geometric strain cost of $\Delta h \approx 0.236$ at the golden boundary ($x = 1/\phi$), forming a rigid potential well with $U''(1)=4$. De-Mystifying Electric Charge: Electric charge ($e$) is reinterpreted as the boundary stress differential and chiral rotational flux generated by the internal standing wave. Charge conservation reflects boundary stability rather than an immutable scalar quantity. Active Mass Cancellation (AMC): Instead of relying on antiparticle keys (positrons), the geometric lock can be broken via anti-phase ($180^\circ$) coherent shockwaves matched to the de Broglie internal frequency ($1.23 \times 10^{20}\text{ Hz}$). Technological & Cosmological Implications 100% Mass-Energy Conversion Efficiency: Provides an ultra-clean energy harvesting paradigm bypassing nuclear fission ($<0.1\%$) and fusion ($0.7\%$) without generating radioactive fallout. Deep-Space Photonic Propulsion: Direct conversion of electron rest mass into directed, coherent photon momentum yields the theoretical maximum specific impulse ($I_{sp}$) for space propulsion. Intrinsic System Safety: Unlike nuclear chain reactions, AMC requires continuous active phase-locking. Interruption of the controlling phase beam immediately halts mass conversion.
