Origin of Particle Configuration by Cosmic Natural Selection and Fundamental Constants
Within the framework of the light origin theory, this paper proposes that fundamental particles and physical coupling constants of the universe are not preset fixed values. They are surviving products after natural selection of massive photon self locked configurations. In high energy environments such as gamma photon collisions and black hole jets, photon collisions generate a large number of temporary self locked structures. Most configurations lose balance in internal forces and disintegrate and annihilate rapidly. Only the self locked structures corresponding to protons and electrons can maintain long term mechanical stability. Neutrons, atomic nuclei, electric charge and proportional relations of various interactions all derive naturally from this stable foundation. We can neither confirm nor deny the existence of other universes with alternative stable particle configurations, since no observational evidence supports such possibility at present. Dimensionless constants measured by human beings only describe inherent proportional relations of this surviving material structure. These relations exist objectively independent of human calculation and observation.
