Unity-First Physics: UFP-NB1 Nested Bounded Relational Dynamics — Master Architecture & Formula Specification v0.1.0

Version notice — 12 September 2026UFP-NB1 v0.1.0 is preserved as the original published research architecture and historical baseline. Subsequent mathematical and computational review identified several items requiring correction or tighter qualification, including projection-closure requirements, benchmark-exposure status, formula typing, and recovery-claim boundaries. Development continues in UFP-NB1 v0.2.0, which introduces a bounded executable candidate, deterministic simulation evidence, preserved failure witnesses, reproducibility materials, and corrected claim boundaries. The files in this v0.1.0 record remain unchanged for provenance. H1/LZ230616 should be regarded as historically exposed rather than an independent prospective validation benchmark for subsequent work. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Unity-First Physics (UFP-NB1) is an exploratory and falsifiable research framework investigating whether apparently separate physical theories may emerge as projection- and scale-dependent descriptions of a single underlying relational dynamics. UFP begins from the methodological rule “Assume unity. Derive separation.” Rather than treating spacetime, particles, fields, quantum mechanics, gravity, thermodynamics, or dimensionality as fundamental inputs, the program asks whether these structures can arise as effective behavior from a smaller background-independent relational substrate. This release introduces UFP-NB1: Nested Bounded Relational Dynamics, a candidate architecture based on bounded relational state domains, cross-domain couplings, admissible transformations, scale mappings, and observational projections. It also incorporates a constrained transition grammar inspired by prior Voynich/Von Nuage Engine research as a computational methodology rather than as historical or physical evidence. The specification defines: the UFP primitive structure and projection framework; the NB1 mathematical architecture; nested-domain and coupling operators; latent and multi-stage transition dynamics; emergence and recovery criteria; U1–U10 physics recovery gates; N1–N8 NB1 model-validation gates; the X1 rare-event benchmark; deterministic simulation and reproducibility requirements; explicit contamination and anti-overfitting rules; failure conditions and evidence-ledger requirements; cross-target and cross-detector prediction criteria. The LUX-ZEPLIN LZ230616 anomalous nuclear-recoil event is treated strictly as a held-out experimental benchmark, not as evidence used to construct or tune the model. Candidate dynamics are to be developed and frozen before comparison with such observations. UFP-NB1 v0.1.0 does not claim a completed theory of fundamental physics, a solution to quantum gravity, or an explanation of dark matter. It establishes a reproducible research architecture designed to fail cleanly when its assumptions or predictions do not survive mathematical, computational, or experimental testing. The central research question is: What is the minimum mathematical structure from which the apparent separation of physics necessarily emerges? DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.22717170
