Technical Amendment TA-03: Post-execution defect correction of the TA-01 v1.3 runner (Pantheon+ Lane-Seifert Likelihood-Architecture Switch)
TA-03 corrects post-execution and pre-release implementation defects in the public TA-01 v1.3 baseline-qualification runner without changing frozen scientific rules. The first v1.3 execution on 2026-09-18 emitted a historical STOP, but the exact return archive shows zero successful MultiNest likelihood callbacks, empty ev.dat files, 1600 callback TypeErrors and bit-identical TS/LCDM evidence. The STOP is retained unchanged but classified NONINFERENTIAL / INVALID FOR SCIENTIFIC ADJUDICATION; the pre-MultiNest noninferential timing probe is acknowledged separately and was discarded/not recorded. TA-03 corrects the callback interface, enforces immediate technical termination for callback exceptions and invalid values, adds per-run validity checks, fail-closed endpoint and covariance-cache resume authentication, a full-output-file-name path-length gate, a data-free real-runtime self-test before locked-data access, and a result-root/runner-hash lock. It also enforces the already-frozen TA-01 v1.3 Section 6.1 H-peak/T-trough composite-confirmation rule atomically, preventing mixed confirmation batches or mixed n_live levels. Scientific inputs, likelihoods, priors, seeds, live-point levels, evidence estimator, gates, tolerances and downstream design are unchanged. v0.6 also corrects the v0.5 provenance misidentification of the public TA-01 v1.3 package/runner.
