Plight of the Oppressed and Ambedkrian Efforts: A critical study of Considering Babytai's autobiography.

Abstract: The downtrodden and their suffering are the main issues handled by authors. Dalit literature is the evidence of Dalit community arduous efforts for existence. The intention of Dalit authors to reveal the plight of the oppressed community and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar countless efforts to bring them out mainstream. Nowadays number of Dalit writer's centering the ideas of Ambedkar's philosophy and ideology. The main objective of Dalit writing is Dalit people should be treated with respect and dignity. Babytai's writing is a testimony of the pivotal position of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar in shaping Indian Dalit thoughts and customs. He had played a vital role to transform Dalits which is kindly observed in their writing. Thus, through this research paper, an attempt has been made to bring forth the arduous efforts of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar to change the condition of Dalit community especially women.
