Typification and nomenclatural notes for names applying to Debregeasia taxa (Urticaceae)

Lectotype is proposed for four names, the lectotypified names are: Procris hypoleuca Steud. (=Debregeasia hypoleuca (Steud.) Wedd.); Debregeasia luteocarpa Elmer; Debregeasisa spiculifera Merr.; Debregeasia squamata King ex Hook.f. Second-step lectotypification is designated for Debregeasia ceylanica Hook.f. and neotype of Urtica dichotoma Blume (= Debregeasia dichotoma (Blume) Wedd.) has been proposed. This effort aims to ensure proper typification and enhance the nomenclatural stability of these names in accordance with the rules of botanical nomenclature.
