SOCIAL JUSTICE, ETHICS, AND PUBLIC THEOLOGY AS CENTRAL CONCERNS IN CONTEMPORARY DISCOURSE

Abstract:This paper examines social justice, ethics, and public theology as central concerns shaping contemporary discourse in a rapidly changing global society. It interrogates the intersection of moral philosophy, theological reflection, and socio-political realities, particularly within African and global contexts. The study argues that public theology provides a critical framework for addressing systemic inequality, corruption, and marginalization while promoting ethical governance and communal responsibility.
