Unified Ground-State Dynamics: A Compensation-First Law of Reality from Events to Physics
This work presents Unified Ground-State Dynamics (UGSD), a medium-independent, compensation-first generative framework for physical reality. UGSD starts from a minimal primitive architecture: an undifferentiated compensation-balanced reference state, an elementary realizable event defined as an intrinsically compensated distinction ((+,-)), and compatible composition that preserves the total compensation account. From this basis, the framework derives exact cancellation and boundary-residual accounting and proposes a structural distinction between open recurrent organization and persistent closed recurrence as precursors of propagating wave/energy-like and matter-like physical regimes. A central feature of UGSD is that it is not tied to any specific physical medium. Fluids, plasmas, fields, matter, vacuum response, or other effective environments are treated as realization classes with their own response kernels, while the underlying generative and accounting architecture remains unchanged. The paper explicitly separates: primitive assumptions, derived combinatorial identities, solution-class properties, empirical calibration, and open physical bridges. It also compares UGSD with distinction-based formalisms, process ontology, causal-set theory, constructor theory, hypergraph-rewriting approaches, emergent-vacuum physics, induced gravity, and assembly theory. The main novelty claim is deliberately narrow: the author is not aware of an established framework in which the elementary realizable event is itself defined as a compensated distinction and in which conservation-like accounting, open propagation, persistent closure, and higher physical regimes are all intended to arise from compatible composition of that same primitive. This record serves both as a scientific proposal and as a timestamped priority statement for the UGSD formulation as of 12 September 2026.
