Data services for German marine research

The German Marine Research Alliance (DAM) aims to preserve valuable marine research data for the long term and make them available to science and society in a sustainable manner. Together with its member institutions, DAM is developing an integrated, reliable, and sustainable data management concept for the German research landscape. Here, we provide an overview of the data services that are available for German marine research including the harmonised data flow on German research vessels, the Ocean Science Information System (OSIS), the Marine Data Portal, as well as support services offered for the DAM research missions and by the NFDI.
