Agent-Based Modeling of Team Diversity, Conflict, Information Processing, and Inclusive Leadership (R Source Code)
This repository contains the reproducibility materials supporting the manuscript, “Modeling the Dynamic and Nonlinear Effects of Team Diversity: An Agent-Based Analysis of Conflict, Information Processing, and Inclusive Leadership,” submitted to the Journal of Modelling in Management. The package provides the authoritative R implementation of the agent-based model, model parameter specifications, ABM pseudocode, and supplementary robustness-analysis scripts and outputs. The main simulation code implements the H1–H6 analyses and convergence analysis using a fully connected team model with heterogeneous agents, surface-level diversity, deep-level diversity, relationship conflict, information processing, organizational citizenship behavior, inclusive leadership, and team performance. The repository also includes additional analyses conducted during the second revision. The C4 robustness analysis examines dynamic inclusive leadership under a conflict- and performance-dependent adaptation rule. The C5 robustness analysis examines the H6 configurational performance landscape under moderate positive correlations between surface-level and deep-level diversity (ρ = 0.20, 0.30, and 0.40). The materials are provided to support transparency, reproducibility, and independent inspection of the computational procedures and results reported in the manuscript. The supplied R scripts are portable and use the working directory rather than machine-specific file paths. Contents include: R simulation code, C4/C5 robustness-analysis code, parameter table, ABM pseudocode, run-level and summary CSV outputs, and comparison of the baseline and correlated-diversity performance landscapes.
