(Short Paper17) The Physical Inevitability of Sleep in the Biolog ical QPU Paradigm: Phase Noise Rejection and Autonomous Calibration of Absolute Coordinates
Sleep is a universal phenomenon observed across all life, yet conventional biochemical interpretations (e.g., removal of fatigue substances and maintenance of synaptic homeostasis) struggle to physically explain the fatal breakdown of spatial cognition (loss of depth perception and motor incongruity) that occurs during sleep deprivation. Based on the biological Quantum Processing Unit (QPU) hypothesis, this paper formulates sleep as the “resetting of phase noise (Phase Jitter) in the systemic QPU network and the autonomous calibration of absolute coordinates.” The iterative cycle of origin resetting via “Phase-Locking” during non-REM sleep and “coordinate system verification (Verify) through rapid eye movement” during REM sleep is revealed to be a physically inevitable phase for reconstructing the absolute coordinates of the entire system.
