Gender Dimensions in EU Marine Research Projects
This brief explores how gender considerations can be integrated into marine protected area governance and EU-funded marine research. Drawing on Blue4all’s internal reflection process and research at the Isola delle Femmine MPA in Sicily, it presents lessons learned and practical recommendations for strengthening gender-responsive approaches in future projects.
