Aquaculture contributes substantially to food security, employment, and income generation in Nigeria, yet the high cost of commercial feed remains a decisive constraint for small scale producers. This study evaluated the effects of imported and locally produced commercial feeds on the growth performance, feed utilization, survival, somatic indices, and economic efficiency of African catfish (Clarias gariepinus) fingerlings. Fingerlings with an initial mean weight of 3.84 ± 0.08 g were random
