Application of genetically engineered biological therapy in a patient with type 2-mediated chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps complicated by multiple sclerosis

Patients with chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps and polymorbid pathology present a certain complexity in the choice of treatment tactics. On the one hand, it is not always possible to perform definitive surgical treatment for such patients due to the severity of their comorbidities. On the other hand, the prescription of genetically engineered biological therapy may be associated with certain risks. This article presents a clinical case of a patient with type 2-mediated chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps and concomitant multiple sclerosis undergoing therapy with the monoclonal antibody dupilumab.
