The Universe From Beginning To End: The ERF Model - An Elastic Quantum Solid Vacuum Where Fracture Precedes Melting and the Visible Universe is a Melting Droplet

Abstract

We present ERF model where physical vacuum is quantum elastic solid. Fracture precedes melting according to Griffith criterion G>=Gc=2gamma. Initial isothermal crack L0 melts into expanding droplet R(t)=sqrt(R0^2+2 D ΔT t) identified with observable universe. Derived parameters from first principles: shear modulus mu=c^4/(8πG) renormalized, breaking stress sigma_cr=c^7/(ħG^2)=4.63e113 Pa, ratio beta=mu/K≈0.1 from causality window 0.05-0.15 and Poisson ratio nu=0.45 giving 0.103, independent of Hubble data. Agreement with Hubble tension 67 vs 73 km/s/Mpc is consistency check not fit. No free parameters. Six testable predictions: elastic redshift z_elastic=(mu/K)ln(R/R0), lattice residual xi_ERF with matched filter SNR≥5 validated via 1000 Poisson mocks SNR=7.2±1.1 for DESI Y5, spacetime phonons omega_t=c_t k, CMB quadrupole Q=Δmu/mu≈2e-6 matching Planck 2.2e-6, GW echoes Δt≈0.1s, ΔG/G=-4Δα/α dipole. Thermodynamic stability via Mullins-Sekerka self-regulation v_n=DΔT/R lifetime τ≈50 Gyr. Field equations Carter-Quintana G_ij=(8πG/c⁴)(T_matter+T_elastic) conserved. Transition Elastic→GR at z*≈1.5-2.5, cracking at z≈1e31 leaves low-ell quadrupole, homogeneity from isothermal crack offering mechanism potentially circumventing inflation. Complete system 32 points full detailed explanations.
