Response to “Clarifying Entrustable Professional Activities in Dental Education: Avoiding Conceptual Confusion”

To the Editor: We would like to thank you for the thoughtful feedback and for the valuable comments provided in the Letter to the Editor regarding our article. We highly appreciate these observations and would like to emphasize that we are already addressing the points raised. As outlined in our work, the presented entrusted professional activities (EPAs) are not intended to represent a final or definitive set. Rather, they constitute an initial step toward the systematic development of EPAs in German dental education. The study is ongoing, and the next phase will involve the structured development of EPAs based on the questionnaire results, following the framework described by Tonni et al. (2020) [1]. Subsequently, these EPAs will be further evaluated using the EQual [2] rubric to ensure their quality and validity. We are grateful for the constructive input, which aligns well with the direction of our continuing research.
