Self‐Electrostatic Interlock of β‐Chitin/MXenes/Ni Fiber‐Based Films for Multifunctional Electromagnetic Interference Shielding
ABSTRACT MXenes have emerged as promising electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding materials because of their metal‐like electrical conductivity, excellent processability, and lightweight nature. However, their limited absorption coefficient and poor mechanical properties restrict further optimization of shielding performance and their ability to meet service requirements in harsh electromagnetic environments. Herein, squid‐pen‐derived β‐chitin/Ti 3 C 2 T x /Ni fiber films are fabricated via magnetic‐field‐induced assembly and self‐electrostatic interlocking. Ni nanoparticles assemble into textile‐like magnetic fibers, enhancing magnetic coupling and the absorption coefficient of MXenes. By integrating electropositive β‐chitin with electronegative Ti 3 C 2 T x , the films achieve improved mechanical properties (tensile strength of 18.90 ± 2.08 MPa and fracture strain of 8.45 ± 0.08%) together with an excellent EMI shielding effectiveness of 75.1 dB, blocking more than 99.999997% of incident electromagnetic waves. Moreover, the β‐chitin/Ti 3 C 2 T x /Ni fiber films integrate Joule heating, photoresponsive heating, and triboelectricity, enabling the design of a “semi‐intelligent warm glove” for wearable applications. Therefore, this work provides a versatile strategy for developing high‐performance smart films integrating EMI shielding with multiple functions for intelligent wearable applications.
