Task Token and Human Freeze After Optical Smoke and a Dark Plant
The question is how a task token or a human freeze reaches a nano uncrewed aerial vehicle (UAV) swarm after short-range optical and near-infrared neighbor links have been taken by smoke, after land-mobile radio, FirstNet, cellular, and 10-gigabit access have already gone dark with the plant, and after the last acoustic host is allowed to carry only a heartbeat or an abort trigger. Neighbor-first Plane C still has four payload classes: keep-alive, relative pose, task token, and abort. Those classes do not share one physical path. Smoke removes the optical neighbor cycle. The dark plant removes every restoration drop that is not already on the airframe. Lead-free potassium sodium niobate, K0.5Na0.5NbO3, written here as KNN, remains the last keep-alive host and is restricted to a heartbeat or an abort trigger as airborne ultrasound. A task token is a short encoded assignment of work. It is not a heartbeat and is not an abort trigger, so the token does not ride KNN. After optical failure the token rides the independently powered host that still carries relative pose, which is ultra-wideband (UWB) or 60 GHz, as a short framed field beside pose, and it is offered only to neighbors that still share that radio geometry. A human freeze is not a task token. It is abort-class. If the pose host still reaches one airframe, the freeze is offered on that same radio path as abort. If that radio path is also gone, the freeze collapses to the one abort trigger KNN is already allowed to carry. Abort remains a freeze of actuation: a controlled hold of relative pose or a stable landing. This is a design paper. It reports no measured fleet.
