Before the Big Bang in Recognition Science: From the First Record to a Hot Universe
How can a universe acquire a past before a common spacetime clock exists? In Recognition Science, an event becomes history through a retained distinction. Closing a balance or completing a clock cycle can leave that distinction intact. Exact constructions locate information in ordered records, boundary changes, and relations between traces. We connect these records to local cubical structure and a growing spatial domain, and show how shared clocks preserve relational content. A finite collection of neutral windows has a definite capacity for exactly recoverable histories. Spatial growth can conserve total charge while sustaining structure; its activation law must be joined to the event dynamics. The transition to a hot universe requires a conserved transfer into propagating modes and a change in their populations. These results identify the physical content of a pre-bang history; its selected initial state and dated chronology remain to be derived.
