Uniform Rotundity Properties of Orlicz Function Spaces Endowed With Generalized s ‐Norms

ABSTRACT This paper presents the necessary and sufficient conditions for the uniform rotundity of Orlicz function spaces equipped with the ‐norm. The results obtained unify, complete, and expand the characterization of uniform rotundity for Orlicz spaces. For the cases of the Luxemburg norm, the Orlicz norm, and the ‐Amemiya norm, these results were already known.

The results obtained unify, complete, and expand the characterization of uniform rotundity for Orlicz spaces. For the cases of the Luxemburg norm, the Orlicz norm, and the ‐Amemiya norm, these results were already known.
