Navier–Stokes Existence and Smoothness as a Pre-Formally Void Problem: A Constructibility-Criterion Dissolution
The Navier–Stokes existence and smoothness problem asks whether smooth solutions to the three-dimensional incompressible Navier–Stokes equations exist globally in time for all smooth initial data, or whether finite-time singularities can form. This note argues that the classical formulation is pre-formally void under Quantum-Geometry Dynamics' Constructibility Criterion (P40): its continuum domain fails to be physically constructible, and the underlying discrete preonic dynamics admit no analogous blow-up. The result is explicitly Level 1 — conditional on QGD's two axioms, and addressed only to whether the classical problem is physically formulable, not to whether the ZFC-continuum mathematical conjecture is thereby proved or disproved on its own terms. A genuinely open item is identified and separated out: the mechanism by which viscosity and dissipation emerge from preonic scattering statistics has not yet been derived, and its completion does not require the framework's empirically unconstrained constants (k, x, c̃, m̃). Companion to: QGD / MPDT Problem Register (§3.13 dissolved-problem entry; §5.10 open-item entry).
