A Personal Person-centred View of Prejudice

In this article I examine how prejudice has affected me on a personal level. I then discuss, as a recently qualified person-centred counsellor, the problems prejudice can cause in counsellor/client relationships, and I include two short case studies. Finally, other viewpoints on the attitude of a counsellor towards clients from ethnic minority groups are briefly considered.
