VAFB-1999-03: Effects Testing at CA-SBA-2229 for Buried Cable Placement along Honda Ridge Road Vandenberg Air Force Base, Santa Barbara County, California

This document is a Section 106 report for an assessment of effect to archaeological site CA-SBA-2229 in support of the burial of a 12.4 kV power line along the south margin of Honda Ridge Road on Vandenberg Air Force Base (VAFB). The archaeological work performed in support of this project consisted of 17 shovel test pits spaced evenly along the project corridor. No cultural materials were found. The report concludes that burying the power line will not affect CA-SBA-2229.
