A Hydrodynamic Unification of the Standard Model, Nuclear Physics, and Gravitation

In the Standard Model, the masses of elementary particles, lepton mixing angles, and the range of the strong nuclear force are treated as fundamental, free parameters. This article eliminates these independent variables by unifying quantum mechanics, nuclear physics, and general relativity through a single classical framework: Superfluid Vacuum Theory (SVT). By modeling the quantum vacuum as a macroscopic condensate with a derived density of ρ₀ ≈ 2.872 × 10¹³ kg/m³, it is demonstrated that all matter constitutes stable topological solitons (vortices) within this medium. The framework analytically solves the major challenges of particle physics, step by step: The Lepton Sector and the Generation Problem: The electron's rest mass is derived geometrically via a 3D Hopfion manifold subject to the symmetry requirement W=2. Heavier generations (Muon and Tau) are proven to be dictated by Lucas primes (W=7, W=29), anchored in Milnor's exotic spheres in dimension 7. This explains the absence of a fourth generation and derives mixing angles as pure geometric cross-overlaps in the field. The mechanical prerequisite for these derivations is the calculation of the universal vacuum pressure—defined by the hydrodynamic scaling factor (λ=660.14)—which balances the field's internal kinetic repulsion. The Hadron Sector and Color Confinement: The macroscopic vortex density of the proton is derived as a direct hydrodynamic compression of the vacuum (ρ_effective = ρ₀ · 152.5). Color confinement (1.5 fm) and the absolute limit of the strong nuclear force (4.5 fm) are proven to be mechanical phase-slip boundaries where the rotational velocity reaches the speed of light (v=c). Unification and the Master Equation: It is mathematically demonstrated how the parameters of the electron, proton, and quark mutually balance each other in one unified equation ("Parameter Locking") that evaluates to exactly c. The equation is then transformed to calculate the neutron's mass defect (1.293 MeV), as well as stellar fusion and nuclear fission as mechanical pressure relief of the superfluid. Furthermore, gravity is demystified as a pure hydrodynamic pressure gradient, where the local displacement of ρ₀ causes the macroscopic phenomenon of curved spacetime. The theory is closed with a falsifiable experimental protocol, proposing the macroscopic verification of the vacuum density via dielectric breakdown in superfluid Helium-4.
