Hydrogen Production from the Dehydrogenation of Ethylenediamine Bisborane over Ru/CeO₂ Catalyst
In this study, ethylenediamine bisborane (EDAB) was synthesized, followed by the investigation of its catalytic hydrolysis. CeO₂ support was prepared via a hydrothermal method, and Ru-immobilized CeO₂ was obtained using wet impregnation. The synthesized catalyst was characterized by XRD, SEM, XPS, BET and EDX analyses, with a measured surface area of 39.2 m²/g. The hydrolysis reaction kinetics revealed an activation energy of 71.5 kJ/mol.
