From teaching technique to guiding problem solving

This text is a personal and reflective introduction to a writing project through which I seek to clarify my understanding of how movement skills are learned and taught. It is neither a systematic literature review nor a defence of a single theory of learning. My purpose is to bring more than five decades of experience as a mover, teacher, and coach into dialogue with the conceptual models I have used at different times to understand learning.
