Relational Continuity of Existence (RCE): A Proposed Framework of Relational Existence, Conditions, Possibilities, Actuality, Boundaries and Continuous Transformation

Abstract Relational Continuity of Existence (RCE) is a proposed philosophical framework for examining existence through relationships, conditions, possibilities, actual states, boundaries, transformation, observation and perspective. RCE begins with a basic question: Can anything exist completely by itself? It proposes that nothing is absolutely independent. Everything that can be identified as a thing, event, state or process exists within relationships and conditions. RCE treats existence as an unbounded continuity rather than as a collection of completely isolated entities. Individual things can have identifiable beginnings and endings, but these need not represent an absolute beginning or absolute end of existence. Possibilities may be unbounded, but not every possibility becomes actual at the same moment. The relationships, conditions and transformations operating together at a particular moment constrain the possibilities and produce a particular actual state. That actual state then becomes part of new relationships and conditions, creating further possibilities and transformations. In this way, existence is understood as a continuing process. This record presents RCE Version 1.0 as an initial philosophical framework and conceptual research proposal. It is not presented as an established scientific theory or as universally proven truth.
