Multimodal treatment-response biomarkers in chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy: a scoping review

This OSF project serves as a repository for materials supporting a completed scoping review on multimodal biomarkers for predicting and monitoring treatment response in chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy (CIDP). The review maps evidence concerning electrophysiology, serum neurofilament light chain, and nerve ultrasound as predictors and longitudinal markers of treatment response, relapse, remission, and treatment dependence. Literature searches were completed on 15 August 2026, and the study-selection process was organized and documented using Rayyan. Supporting materials include the electronic search strategy, PRISMA-ScR flow diagram and checklist, evidence tables, and supplementary review documentation. This OSF project was created after completion of the review and should not be interpreted as a prospective protocol registration.
