Artificial density distribution in the N(1440) Roper radial excitation transition current structure

This study employs Patterson function analysis to reconstruct the spatial distribution of the N(1440) Roper radial excitation transition current. By combining empirical Dirac (F₁) and Pauli (F₂) form factors, the method reveals that the contribution of F₂ is comparatively minor. In contrast to earlier empirical reconstructions, this artificial reconstruction highlights a sharply localized density profile, underscoring the compactness of the excitation. The results confirm that Patterson imaging provides a transparent, model independent framework for probing baryon transition currents, while also demonstrating its adaptability to artificial density distributions.
