Mechanism‐Driven Nanoformulations for Cognitive Impairment Induced by Intermittent Hypoxia and Periodontitis (Adv. Mater. 49/2026)
Cognitive Impairment Inspired by the Chinese myth of Nezha, the Janus “magic pill” shows an asymmetric structure: the Au domain with RVG peptide targets neurons, while the mSiO2 domain with TPP ligands homes to mitochondria, encapsulating vitamin B2. A mitochondrial boat floats on a neuronal surface, where ROS are scavenged as the pill approaches, symbolizing precision delivery and hierarchical targeting.
